Parents who bring their children to True Smile aren’t just looking for treatment, they’re looking for peace of mind. Our clinic was built around real-life parenting needs, with a strong focus on comfort, communication, and care.
From the moment you walk through our doors, you’ll notice that everything is designed with children in mind. Appointments run on time, so kids aren’t kept waiting, and the environment is calm, cheerful, and welcoming. Our dental rooms are thoughtfully decorated to help children feel safe and at ease, and our team is trained to work with all kinds of personalities — from curious toddlers to nervous teens.
When it comes to treatment, we take every step to make the experience smooth and relaxed. For anxious children, we offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas), a safe and fast-acting way to ease tension without putting them to sleep. Our equipment is pediatric-specific: quiet, fast, and precise — and our team works gently and patiently at every stage.
We also hold ourselves to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Our clinic follows European sterilization protocols, and every instrument, surface, and toy is either thoroughly disinfected or single-use.
And after each visit, we make sure your child leaves with a smile and a small surprise. Every child who visits us receives a little gift or toy as a token of encouragement, because we believe that building trust with children starts with positive memories and real care.
Our pediatric team covers all aspects of children’s dental health, from prevention to emergencies.
The best treatment is prevention — and that’s exactly what we focus on at True Smile Dental Center in Abu Dhabi. Regular check-ups with a pediatric dentist allow us to detect early signs of tooth decay, enamel weakness, or bite issues — before they become more serious.
Our preventive care includes:
By focusing on prevention, we help protect your child’s smile and reduce the need for complex treatments in the future. It's the most effective and gentle path to lifelong oral health.
Every child needs their own approach. Some kids are curious and open to dental care right away while others need time to adjust, feel safe, and trust the dentist. At True Smile Dental Center, we always follow the child’s pace. That’s how real trust is built.
We don’t rush into treatment. First, we help the child feel comfortable: a simple cleaning, getting to know the tools, or just talking. Step by step, we gently introduce new things — explaining everything in words a child can understand. This way, even a filling or a baby tooth extraction can go by almost unnoticed.
Our dentists are trained not only in working with teeth, but in understanding children. They know how to turn a difficult experience into something easy, calm, and sometimes even fun.
Most importantly, we follow evidence-based pediatric dentistry. That means no unnecessary treatments, no pressure, and no fear-based decisions. We only recommend what your child really needs — according to modern international guidelines.
Parents are part of the process too. We explain every step, answer every question, and support you in making the best decisions for your child’s health. If your child has special needs, anxiety, or past trauma, we adjust our care plan accordingly.
Our goal is simple: to help your child grow up with a healthy smile and no fear of the dentist — and to make you feel confident and supported every step of the way.

Pain usually appears only when a problem has already advanced. Early visits help catch issues like cavities, bite problems, or weak enamel before they cause discomfort — and before treatment becomes more complex. Prevention is easier and less stressful than emergency care.
Look at their teeth — they should look clean, with no visible plaque or food near the gumline. If your child’s breath smells bad despite brushing, or if plaque builds up near the back teeth, it may be a sign they’re missing spots. Children under 8 should brush under supervision.
We recommend checkups every 6 months. If your child has braces, lots of cavities, or a medical condition affecting oral health, every 3–4 months may be better. Your pediatric dentist will advise what’s best for your child.
We hear this often — and while some adults were lucky, many develop issues like gum disease, misaligned teeth, or hidden decay that could have been avoided. Dentistry today is not just about fixing problems — it’s about creating confidence, health, and lifelong habits.
This is more common than you think — and you’re not alone. We often meet children who are afraid of the dentist, especially if brushing at home is already a daily struggle. The most important thing is not to force or pressure. At True Smile, we begin with trust, not treatment.
If needed, we’ll schedule a short adaptation visit — just to meet the dentist, look around, and maybe “count teeth” together. No tools. No treatment. No surprises. Our pediatric dentists are trained to work with anxious children — they know how to read body language, speak gently, and give the child a sense of control.
We also have tools to help: nitrous oxide (laughing gas), soft lighting, calm voices, and plenty of patience. Even if your child won’t open their mouth at the first visit — that’s okay. We’ll go step by step, at their pace.
What matters is helping your child build a positive connection with dental care — and showing them that the dentist is not someone to fear. And we’ll support you, too, with tips for home routines and a plan you can feel confident in.
