Who can leave the clinic with a tooth on the day of surgery

Immediate loading is used in two situations:

• The tooth is already missing. The implant goes into a healed site. A temporary tooth may be fitted that day if stability and other clinical conditions allow.
• The tooth is removed in the same visit. If the site is suitable, the doctor removes the tooth and places the implant in the same visit.
