When it comes to dental treatment, hygiene and sterilization aren’t just formalities — they are a vital part of keeping you safe. At True Smile Dental Center in Abu Dhabi, we follow the highest international standards to make sure every step of your visit is clean, safe, and worry-free.
Here’s how we protect your health — and why it matters.
Why Infection Control Is Essential in Dentistry
Every dental procedure involves contact with saliva, soft tissue, and sometimes blood. Without strict infection control, there’s a risk of spreading serious diseases — including hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and HIV.
That’s why we implement multi-stage instrument disinfection, sterilization, and packaging protocols, following global best practices in dental infection control.
Our Sterilization Standards — What We Do Differently
- Class B Autoclaves
We use Class B autoclaves, the gold standard for sterilization in dentistry. These devices sterilize even hollow instruments under pressure and high temperature — the same level used in surgical hospitals in Europe and the U.S.
- Sealed Sterilization Pouches with Indicators
Each instrument is sealed in a sterile pouch with a color indicator that changes only after complete autoclave processing. This visual proof ensures instruments are truly sterile — and you can see it yourself before treatment begins.
- One Patient = One Set
We never reuse disposable materials. That means new gloves, masks, suction tips, and polishing heads for every patient. No exceptions.
- Sterile Unpacking in Front of You
Instruments are opened right before use — so you can see with your own eyes that everything is clean, safe, and sealed.
- Staff Trained in International Protocols
Our nurses and assistants receive regular training in sterilization techniques and hygiene protocols. Cleanliness is not just a process — it’s a mindset we follow every day.
Why It Matters for You
- Peace of mind: You’re treated with instruments that meet hospital-grade sterilization.
- Visible hygiene: You don’t have to “hope” it’s clean — the proof is in the pouch.
- Top-tier infection control: We exceed what’s legally required — because your health comes first.
Modern dental clinic in Abu Dhabi: Not all clinics invest in this level of protection — we do.
Did You Know?
- Class B autoclaves sterilise instruments after every patient.
- Color indicators on sterilization pouches are your visual safety confirmation.
Sterilization equipment is only part of the system — trained staff and proper storage matter just as much.
